Hair….side swept! Not sure if I’m looking mod or like a member of the HY! :0/ awkward! … Style it out Pete…style it OUT!
living in a blind society… So recently I’ve had a few comments made towards me that have really made me think about image and what society sees as “ideal” people telling me I should eat more, that I’m too thin, that my clothes look either too fitted or that a baggy t shirt makes me look smaller than I am. It’s confusing. Where’s the happy medium and why should I care what people think of how I look. So I go on with my day and those seeds of thought grow, so I start to wonder and sometimes worry that my image isn’t a perfect fit for the current world around us all.
Society dictates what “good” looks like. Instagram does exactly the same, I’m guilty of it. I touch up photos I filter them to morph images into what I think people want to see. Magazine covers and fashion does exactly the same. Advertising campaigns using thin girls or muscles been used to promote what a “good” body should look like.
My message is clear. DON’T WORRY about what people think. If you start to think your not good enough, start to believe in yourself, make the change that’s good for yourself not for other people.
Your all beautiful inside and out. Love yourself and love will find you. Your image isn’t everything. It’s actually true, that what’s on the inside counts.
